SRCS Cadet Receives Mitchell, Award at Wing Conference

Cadet Dainec Stefan received his Mitchell Award at the 2008 Missouri Wing Conference held in October. His parents were present during the AM session to watch as the Wing Commander presented the second milestone award.

At the banquet that same evening, Cadet Stefan received the Missouri Wing Cadet NCO of the Year Award. Cadet Stefan earned the award due to his outstanding work as a leader, role model, and instructor. He is active in squadron activities as a flight commander, in group activities in the CLS, and at the wing level as the commander of the MOWG Color Guard team. Congratulations, Cadet Stefan!

SRCS Senior Selected for CP Award

1Lt Jennifer Carr received the John V. "Jack" Sorenson Cadet Programs Officer of the Year Award at the Missouri Wing Conference. Lt Carr serves on the squadron’s Promotion Review Board, is a testing officer, and is willing to assist the squadron with any activity. A main supporter of the Color Guard, the team would not run as well without her assistance and mentoring. She also serves as the Group V CLS Academic Officer. Congratulations, Lt Carr!
